The first in an envisioned series of Warning Bells, this sculpture is created on a 3D printer out of a bioplastic made from renewable resources. This small-scale bell refers to the storm complex that affected a specific region in a given year; in the case of 2024, the hurricanes Beryl, Helene, and Milton. The edition is intended to precede large-scale public works installed in impacted communities. The bell series underscores the missed opportunities humans have had to course correct climate change, while offering hope through the remembrance of history.
